About the role
The Branch Operations Manager role at MSME Business in Vadodara, Gujarat, India owns daily branch operations including cash, clearing, account opening, and service requests while ensuring strict adherence to KYC/AML, RBI, and audit norms. The manager partners with sales and service teams to enhance customer experience, runs daily ops controls, tracks service metrics, prepares for audits, and trains frontline staff on process updates and compliance. This is a full-time position based in Vadodara.
What you’ll do
- Run daily ops controls (cash, vault, ATM, locker, EOD and reconciliation)
- Service branch customers and maintain branch operations in-line with audit compliance requirements
- Ensure accurate account opening/KYC with CKYC uploads and documentation quality
- Track service metrics (TAT, FTR, complaints) and implement RCA-based fixes
- Prepare for audits/inspections; maintain records and resolve observations on time
- Cross-sell insurance/investments and activate digital banking for all new customers
- Train frontline on process updates and compliance requirements
- Inventory management of customer deliverables and gold loan packets
What you’ll bring
- 3 to 9 years of experience in branch operations
- Graduate degree
- Knowledge of KYC/AML, RBI, and audit norms
- Experience with cash, clearing, account opening, and service requests
- Banking certifications preferred
Nice to have
JAIIB/CAIIB certifications preferred
