About the role

The Manager/Engineer - Quality role at Cushman & Wakefield oversees the preparation, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems across the project lifecycle for Commercial, Mixed Use, or Residential Precast Plant projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing QA/QC policies, conducting ISO and OHSAS audits, performing on- and off-site inspections, reviewing plans and specifications, coordinating with contractors and consultants, managing QA/QC documentation, and delivering quality training and performance reports. This is an on-site position based in Bengaluru, India.

What you’ll do

Prepare and implement QA/QC policies and procedures
Carry out audits for ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 18001 and recommend corrective actions
Monitor policies and procedures and report areas requiring improvement
Assist Project/Construction Managers in reviewing contractor quality plans and produce recommendations
Review project plans, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance
Perform daily inspection and testing of all scopes on or off site to achieve required construction quality
Coordinate with contractor representatives and Site Engineer-in-charge on inspections and quality problem meetings, including NCR closure
Manage QA/QC documentation including certificates, calibrations, test results, inspection requests, NCRs, site instructions, and material deliveries

What you’ll bring

B.E. Civil degree
5 to 10 years of QA/QC experience in the construction industry
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality control principles
Technical awareness of Civil, MEP, HVAC, and Architectural works
Excellent organizational and motivational skills
Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve quality objectives

Nice to have

Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Lean Six Sigma)
