Manager, Quality Engineering

About the role

EisnerAmper seeks a Manager, Quality Engineering in Mumbai to lead QA strategy, automation, and team coordination across technology projects. The role ensures application quality, reliability, and compliance by managing manual and automated testing efforts alongside stakeholder reporting. This full-time position operates on-site in Mumbai.

What you’ll do

• Lead QA planning, estimation, execution, and delivery across assigned projects
• Define and oversee test strategy, scenarios, cases, and data management
• Manage manual and automated testing activities including API and database testing
• Drive automation strategy using tools like Selenium, Java, and Robot Framework
• Lead defect management, triage, prioritization, tracking, and closure processes
• Partner with development and business teams throughout the testing lifecycle
• Establish QA metrics, dashboards, and communicate status to leadership
• Coach, mentor, and guide QA Developers on standards and best practices

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in QA, software testing, or test automation
• 2+ years of experience leading QA teams or project-level delivery
• Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have

• Experience defining and managing test strategies, plans, and defect reports
• Proficiency with Selenium, WebDriver, JUnit, Java, JavaScript, SQL, and JSON
• Experience with SOAP/REST API testing tools and app-based automation
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and release management

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
