About the role

Software Quality Engineering team at Northern Trust builds and maintains critical financial technology platforms. The manager leads full‑stack development using Java Spring Boot and React, drives architecture, test automation, CI/CD, and cloud deployment on Azure while mentoring a team of engineers. Based in Pune, India (also supporting Bangalore), on‑site work model.

What you’ll do

Lead end‑to‑end architecture and delivery of web applications
Mentor and manage a team of developers
Define coding standards and testing protocols
Oversee CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes
Collaborate with product, UX/UI, and QA stakeholders
Drive Agile ceremonies and sprint planning
Implement monitoring with Dynatrace and observability tools
Promote adoption of emerging technologies
