What you’ll do
- Maintain database availability and performance
- Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions
- Configure high availability features like RAC, Data Guard, AlwaysOn
- Monitor and tune databases using tools
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams
- Document processes and ensure compliance
- Respond to incidents and meet SLA targets
- Drive automation and capacity forecasting
What you’ll bring
- 4-7 years database administration experience
- Strong SQL knowledge
- Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Backup and recovery expertise
- Performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Database monitoring tools
- ITIL processes knowledge
- Scripting and automation
