About the role

Technology team at Landmark Group in Bengaluru, India. The Database Administrator II ensures high availability, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and automation of enterprise databases across Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL platforms. Works onsite to meet stringent SLA targets, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in database operations.

Maintain database availability ≥99.8%
Achieve backup success rate ≥99% and restore success rate 100%
Ensure critical incident SLA compliance ≥99.5%
Drive change success rate ≥99% and patch compliance 100%
Remediate vulnerabilities to 100% compliance
Forecast capacity with ≥99% accuracy
Increase automation coverage year‑on‑year
Maintain zero audit findings for database operations

What you’ll bring

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate
ITIL Foundation

Nice to have

4-7 years of database administration experience
Strong SQL knowledge
Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
Backup and recovery expertise
Performance tuning and troubleshooting
Database monitoring tools usage
Understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery concepts
Scripting and automation experience
