Information Security Engineer I

About the role

This Information Security Engineer (I) role sits within NCR Voyix's Global Information Security team, which develops and implements the corporate information security program to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information resources. Day-to-day work spans architecture and design of security controls, developing and enforcing policies and standards, security awareness training, risk management, assessment and testing, monitoring and metrics, incident management, and threat and vulnerability management. The position is based in Chennai, India.

What you’ll do

• Support architecture and design for NCR information security controls
• Develop and enforce information security policies and standards
• Contribute to security awareness training
• Support risk management, assessment, and testing activities
• Assist with monitoring and metrics for the security program
• Support incident management processes
• Support threat and vulnerability management activities

What you’ll bring

• Experience supporting corporate information security program functions such as architecture and design of security controls, policy and standards development, risk management, assessment and testing,
• Ability to contribute to security awareness training initiatives
• Background aligned with protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information resources
• Capacity to work within a global information security team
