About the role
AWS Infrastructure Services team builds and operates the global AWS data center network. The Network Deployment Build Lead drives stability and scalability of next‑generation networks, leads multiple concurrent projects, and collaborates with internal customers and external vendors to deliver hardware installations and capacity management. Mumbai,MH,IND, on-site, 20% travel required.
What you’ll do
- Lead multiple concurrent network deployment projects
- Estimate project time, cost and resource requirements
- Participate in installation, migration, configuration and rollout of hardware
- Follow change management guidelines and coordinate with vendors
- Troubleshoot network and physical component issues during deployment
- Communicate project updates to stakeholders
What you’ll bring
- 7-10 years network project delivery experience
- Experience managing medium to large‑scale projects
- Proficiency with ticketing systems for work prioritization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in data center environments and cabling infrastructure
