About the role
AWS Infrastructure team builds and operates the global low‑latency, high‑throughput network that powers AWS services. The Network Infrastructure Deployment Manager leads end‑to‑end network delivery, managing construction projects, fiber deployment, and contractor coordination across multiple time zones. Mumbai, India, hybrid with 25‑50% travel.
What you’ll do
- Interface with internal stakeholders to gather technical requirements
- Manage project scope, timeline, and budget for network construction
- Ensure construction adheres to standards and perform quality audits
- Create detailed network planning packs for scalable infrastructure
- Program management, risk mitigation, and status reporting
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years technical infrastructure management including network construction
- Experience with fiber optic and copper cabling standards
- Strong knowledge of transport technologies such as Fiber and DWDM
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
