Associate Specialist, Applications Development

About the role

The Associate Specialist, Applications Development role within the Applications Development team focuses on designing, developing, testing, implementing, supporting, and maintaining B2B integration solutions that enable secure and reliable data exchange between internal systems and external trading partners. Day-to-day work involves EDI integration development using IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) in Linux environments, collaborating with business stakeholders, customers, and technology teams to deliver scalable, high-quality integration solutions. The position is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and is remote.

• Design, develop, test, implement, support, and maintain B2B integration solutions
• Enable secure and reliable data exchange between internal systems and external trading partners
• Work closely with business stakeholders, customers, and technology teams
• Deliver scalable and high-quality integration solutions

What you’ll bring

• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in EDI integration development using IBM Transformation Extender (ITX)
• Strong knowledge of IBM Transformation Extender (IBM ITX)
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments
• Experience with EDI standards and message formats such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT
• Proficiency with XML, JSON, and CSV data formats
• Experience with SOAP/XML-based integration
• Ability to design, develop, test, implement, support, and maintain B2B integration solutions
• Ability to work closely with business stakeholders, customers, and technology teams
