About the role

Custody and Shared Services, Global Delivery team at State Street drives end‑to‑end Income and Corporate Actions operations in India. The Managing Director leads the India operating model, partners with global functional leaders, and advances transformation, risk control and client service excellence. Based in Pune, India, on‑site role with occasional global travel and cross‑time‑zone collaboration.

What you’ll do

• Set strategic direction and operational management for India Income and Corporate Actions
• Implement operating model, drive efficiency and cost reduction
• Embed risk and control discipline, oversee issue escalation
• Lead culture of ownership, accountability and One State Street
• Partner with Global Delivery on transformation initiatives
• Improve client service, address aged reconciliations and inquiries
• Develop high‑performing teams, succession planning and talent growth
• Manage cross‑functional and virtual teams

What you’ll bring

• 18+ years financial services experience
• Senior leadership of large operations teams
• Deep custody expertise in Income and Corporate Actions
• Experience with tax reclaims, class actions, proxy
• Proven client service delivery and business growth
