About the role

Morgan Stanley’s Institutional Equity Division seeks a Senior Manager for Electronic Trading Support in Mumbai to lead Non-Market Risk activities. The role involves strengthening control frameworks, coaching teams, and driving automation within the Global Markets Group. This full-time position operates on-site in Mumbai.

What you’ll do

Execute and lead activities within the Non-Market Risk Mumbai team
Enhance existing control frameworks and design new ones where gaps exist
Review and monitor internal policy breaches and assess risk
Provide thought leadership and coach team members
Produce management reports highlighting issues and trends
Supervise Mumbai Team activities related to risk controls
Assist in migrating onshore activities to local team
Build partnerships with regional and global IED Risk Management

What you’ll bring

7-9 years experience in First Line of Defense Risk Management
Experience in Sales & Trading at Tier 1 financial institutions
Post-Graduate/G graduate from Tier 1/2 institutions
Strong understanding of Risk Management and Controls
Knowledge of Equities markets and regulatory rules

Nice to have

Chartered Accountant / CFA (Level 1 and 2) / FRM (Level 1)
Onsite/onshore/international experience partnering with Front Office leadership
Experience with deep-dive investigations and root-cause analysis
Proficiency in MS Office applications and AI tools
