About the role
Fourier's Electronics Engineering team builds high‑efficiency power conversion systems for next‑generation electrolyzers. The Senior Manager leads architecture, design, and integration of 480V AC to low‑voltage DC systems, ensuring safety, compliance, and performance in hazardous hydrogen environments. Based in Hyderabad, the role is on‑site with a focus on scaling production and mentoring a cross‑functional hardware team.
What you’ll do
- Architect electrical architecture from 480V grid to 12V/24V DC networks
- Design AC/DC rectification and DC/DC converters for electrolyzer stack
- Integrate VFDs and SCR controllers for industrial loads
- Define firmware requirements and communication protocols (Modbus, CAN, Profinet)
- Ensure compliance with NEC, UL, IEC 61508/ISO 13849
- Recruit, mentor, and manage cross‑functional hardware team
- Collaborate with vendors and supply chain for critical components
- Manage development schedules, budgets, and hardware lifecycles
What you’ll bring
- 12+ years power electronics experience
- 5+ years engineering management
- 480V AC power distribution expertise
- AC/DC rectification design
- Safety standards (NEC, UL, IEC 61508)
- PLC/PAC and fieldbus knowledge
- Thermal management of high‑power electronics
- Root‑cause analysis and system optimization
Nice to have
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Power Electronics or related
