About the role
Retail Banking Trade & Forex division at IDFC FIRST Bank drives regional growth of trade finance services. The Regional Head leads a team to build and scale the Trade and Forex business, ensuring compliance, achieving targets, and enhancing customer satisfaction across Chennai. On-site role based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
What you’ll do
- Build and grow Trade and Forex business across the zone
- Achieve regional TFX business targets
- Monitor compliance with trade regulations, AML, KYC
- Guide Trade Counsellors and Desk Officers to meet results
- Maintain high service standards to minimize customer attrition
Nice to have
- 5+ years experience in Trade Finance and Retail Liabilities
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities
- Strong understanding of Trade and Forex products and compliance
- Fluent English with stakeholder engagement skills
- Strategic thinking for business growth
