About the role
AI LLM Platform DevOps team at Coupa builds AI-driven platforms that enable secure, scalable, and innovative enterprise solutions. The Lead Cloud Software Engineer defines platform architecture, drives strategy for LLM and GenAI infrastructure, and mentors a team of DevOps engineers. Bangalore, Hybrid (on-site and remote), relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Define long‑term technical vision for AI platform
- Architect enterprise‑scale, multi‑cloud solutions
- Lead and mentor platform DevOps engineers
- Establish engineering standards and best practices
- Collaborate on technical direction with architects and AI/ML leads
- Oversee CI/CD and deployment of LLM/Embedding models
- Conduct design and code reviews, incident RCA
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies
What you’ll bring
- 8+ years platform engineering experience
- 3+ years technical leadership
- Expertise in AWS or GCP cloud services
- Proficiency in Python, Go, Java
- IaC with Terraform
- Container orchestration with Kubernetes/EKS/GKE
- CI/CD pipeline design
- Designing multi-tenant, high‑availability platforms
Nice to have
- BS/MS Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience with LLM/GenAI platforms and vector databases
- Knowledge of AI/ML platform governance
