About the role

Workday Functional Consultant - Advance compensation role involves facilitating requirements gathering and client workshops, translating business needs into effective Workday configurations, and maintaining detailed functional documentation. Responsibilities include configuring core components of Advanced Compensation such as merit cycles, bonus plans, stock programs, and compensation review statements; setting up and maintaining Workday security roles, custom reports, and dashboards; planning and executing system testing activities, writing test cases, conducting tests, and managing defect resolution; delivering user training and creating comprehensive end-user and process documentation; staying current with Workday feature releases and identifying opportunities for process enhancements and increased efficiency.

What you’ll do

• Facilitate requirements gathering and client workshops; translate business needs into effective Workday configurations and maintain detailed functional documentation.
• Configure core components of Advanced Compensation, including merit cycles, bonus plans, stock programs, and compensation review statements.
• Set up and maintain Workday security roles, custom reports, and dashboards to support compensation processes.
• Plan and execute system testing activities, including writing test cases, conducting tests, and managing defect resolution.
• Deliver user training and create comprehensive end-user and process documentation.
• Stay current with Workday feature releases and identify opportunities for process enhancements and increased efficiency.

What you’ll bring

• 2+ years of experience working in Workday Advanced Compensation
• Hands on experience on handling Workday Core Compensation configurations, workflows
• Experience with Workday security, business processes, and integrations
• Excellent communication skills
• Should have done stakeholder management and team leader role
• Certification is a plus
