About the role
SYSTRA’s Dy. Chief Safety, Health & Environment Expert leads SHE oversight for civil and system worksites in India’s metro BIDs. The role implements safety protocols, conducts risk assessments, audits, and ensures compliance with environmental and occupational standards. Based in Faridabad, Haryana, the position is on-site with a fixed‑term contract.
What you’ll do
- Implement and monitor safety protocols at civil and system worksites
- Ensure worker health standards, emergency preparedness, and occupational hygiene
- Enforce environmental protection, waste management, and pollution control
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits
- Organize safety drills and awareness programs
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and authorities to resolve SHE issues
- Maintain incident records, corrective actions, and compliance reports

- Graduate in Engineering
- 25 years overall experience
- 5 years relevant SHE experience
