Dy. Chief Track Design & Specification Engineer

About the role

SYSTRA’s Railways team leads the design of high‑speed and metro track systems across India. The Dy. Chief Engineer drives geometry approval, specification drafting, and interface coordination with rolling stock and signaling to ensure safety and performance. Based in New Delhi/Faridabad, the role is onsite with a fixed‑term contract.

What you’ll do

• Authorise horizontal/vertical alignments and cant design
• Draft and vet rail, fastening, and turnout specifications
• Coordinate track, rolling stock, and signaling interfaces
• Align track loads with structural and tunnel designs
• Establish ITPs for rail welding and grinding
• Ensure CMRS safety certification compliance
• Manage procurement and ballastless track installation

What you’ll bring

20+ years experience in track design, 7+ years on high‑speed or metro projects

Nice to have

Track geometry, rail & fastening specifications, interface coordination, safety certification, procurement of track components
