Technical Architect AI/ML

About the role

AI/ML Workload Services team at Snowflake builds AI/ML capabilities on the Data Cloud, enabling customers to move data science pipelines from ideation to deployment. The Technical Architect designs and implements Snowflake‑based solutions, builds POCs with SQL, Python and APIs, and guides customers on MLOps, GenAI and large language models. Based in Mumbai with a hybrid work model and 25% travel to customer sites, the role collaborates across Product, Engineering and Marketing to continuously improve offerings.

What you’ll do

• Serve as technical expert on Snowflake for AI/ML workloads
• Design and deploy ML pipelines using Snowflake and ecosystem partners
• Build hands‑on POCs demonstrating GenAI and ML implementations
• Transfer knowledge to enable customers to extend Snowflake capabilities
• Maintain awareness of competitive AI/ML technologies and position Snowflake accordingly
• Collaborate with system integrators to deploy solutions in customer environments
• Provide guidance on resolving customer‑specific technical challenges
• Partner with Product, Engineering and Marketing to improve Snowflake products

What you’ll bring

• 10 years pre‑sales or post‑sales technical experience
• Deep knowledge of data science lifecycle and MLOps
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
• Proficiency in SQL and Python (or R/Java/Scala)
• Familiarity with Snowflake features and partner tools
• Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit‑Learn
• Experience with LLMs, retrieval and agentic frameworks
• University degree in CS, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
