Senior / Principal Technical Architect, AI/ML

About the role

Professional Services team at Snowflake helps customers expand their use of the Snowflake Data Cloud to build end‑to‑end data science pipelines. The Technical Architect designs AI/ML solutions, advises on best practices, and builds POCs using SQL, Python and Snowflake ecosystem tools. Works directly with client technical teams and system integrators on‑site in Pune to ensure successful deployment and knowledge transfer.

What you’ll do

• Provide technical expertise on Snowflake for AI/ML workloads
• Advise customers on best practices for data science workloads
• Design and build ML pipelines using Snowflake features and partner tools
• Develop hands‑on POCs with SQL and Python to demonstrate implementations
• Ensure knowledge transfer and enable customers to extend capabilities
• Collaborate with system integrators to deploy Snowflake solutions
• Support Professional Services team members in skill development
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake offerings

What you’ll bring

• 6+ years in pre‑sales or post‑sales technical role
• Degree in data science, computer science, engineering or related field
• Deep knowledge of Data Science lifecycle and MLOps
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
• Proficiency in SQL and Python (or Java/Scala)
• Familiarity with data science tools such as SageMaker, AzureML, Dataiku, Datarobot, H2O, Jupyter
• Experience with libraries like Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit‑Learn
