About the role
Finance team at UWorld supports the US accounting operations. The Staff Accountant handles GL/AP/AR/FA/PR/TAX budgeting, month‑end journal entries, account reconciliations, and assists with tax filings and audits. Hyderabad, Telangana, India, on-site work model.
What you’ll do
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts during month‑end close
- Support financial reporting and analysis
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax filings
- Participate in annual budgeting and audit processes
- Run ad‑hoc reports and account analysis
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to improve processes
What you’ll bring
- CA Inter or CA IPCC passed
- 3-5 years accounting experience
- US accounting experience
- GAAP knowledge
- Proficiency with accounting systems
- Microsoft Office proficiency
