About the role

Finance Accounting Team at Evolent Health International focuses on delivering accurate financial reporting and compliance across India and global operations. The Staff Accountant owns India GAAP financial statements, leads statutory and tax audits, manages AP/AR teams, and supports budgeting, forecasting, and transfer pricing processes. Pune, On-site, Full-time role with opportunities to expand offshore finance operations.

What you’ll do

• Own India GAAP financial statements and audit schedules
• Manage local AP/AR teams and coordinate with onshore teams
• Lead statutory and tax audits, including testing and query resolution
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and transfer pricing processes
• Oversee compliance filings such as GST, STPI, and payroll taxes
• Assist controller with hiring and offshore finance operations

What you’ll bring

• CA or CPA certification
• 4-6 years of finance experience, preferably Big 4 or multinational
• Strong knowledge of India GAAP and US GAAP
• Hands‑on experience with local compliance and regulations
• Experience leading statutory and tax audits
• Project management and analytical skills
