About the role

Simeio's AI Solutions team builds scalable machine learning and generative AI platforms for enterprise customers. The Lead Machine Learning Engineer architects, develops, and deploys end‑to‑end ML and GenAI models, creates MLOps pipelines with SageMaker and Airflow, and mentors junior engineers. Bangalore office, on-site work model, with opportunities to influence high‑impact AI initiatives across multiple industries.

What you’ll do

• Lead development, optimization, and deployment of ML and GenAI models
• Select and evaluate LLM and embedding models for use cases
• Ingest structured and unstructured data into vector databases
• Build end‑to‑end agentic workflows for data retrieval and insight generation
• Design and manage MLOps pipelines using SageMaker, Airflow, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to integrate AI solutions
• Mentor junior engineers on ML best practices
• Develop robust CI/CD pipelines and stay current with ML advancements

What you’ll bring

• 7+ years Python and machine learning experience
• Strong MLOps practice and toolset
• Production deployment of ML models
• TensorFlow or PyTorch expertise
• Experience with vector databases and LLMs
• FastAPI or Flask development
• Git and CI/CD pipeline management
• AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud experience
