About the role

CPU Architecture team at Qualcomm designs and builds core math libraries for ML/AI acceleration on ARM SoCs. The Senior Engineer develops and optimizes ARM Neon and SVE ML kernels, collaborates with hardware and system teams, and evaluates performance on real hardware and simulators. Bangalore, India, on-site role with opportunities to work on cutting‑edge AI platforms.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and validate embedded and cloud‑edge software for ML acceleration
• Optimize core ML kernels using ARM Neon, SVE, and SME extensions
• Collaborate with system, hardware, and test engineers to define performance requirements
• Perform performance evaluation using QEMU, simulators, emulators, and real hardware

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 2+ years experience
• Master's degree with 1+ year experience
• PhD with relevant experience
• 2+ years programming in C/C++/Java/Python
• 2-5 years experience in ML libraries development
