About the role

Corporate Transformation & Transactions Services team at EY helps clients navigate complex tax laws and corporate restructuring. The Senior Manager leads tax law advisory, transaction support, and technology adoption initiatives, guiding a team to deliver compliance, governance, and strategic solutions. Based in Mumbai, on‑site role with hybrid flexibility as needed.

What you’ll do

• Lead tax law and corporate transformation initiatives for clients
• Provide tax advisory, compliance, and transaction support services
• Drive technology adoption for CoSec solutions and internal efficiencies
• Manage client relationships and develop new business opportunities
• Oversee a team of professionals and mentor junior staff
• Coordinate board and shareholder meetings and related documentation
• Deliver health checks, opinions, and compliance reviews
• Collaborate across global tax disciplines to deliver integrated solutions

What you’ll bring

• Company Secretary qualification, preferably with a law degree
• 9-12 years post‑qualification experience
• Deep knowledge of Companies Act, SEBI (LODR), IBC, corporate governance
• Experience with transaction support (mergers, demergers, buy‑backs, capital reductions, liquidations, share issuances)
• Advisory and compliance experience for listed and unlisted companies
• Strong client handling and communication skills
• Exposure to CoSec technology and driving technology adoption
• Proven ability to lead a team and bring an existing client book

Education

Law
