About the role

Accor Group seeks an Executive - Housekeeping in Mysuru, Karnataka, India to oversee all housekeeping operations and maintain exceptional cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction across the property. Day-to-day, you will lead room inspections and quality audits, coordinate with external service providers, manage inventory and vendor invoices, collaborate with Front Office and Maintenance, and train and mentor housekeeping staff. The role requires flexibility to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays, and is a full-time position.

What you’ll do

  • Oversee all housekeeping operations and maintain responsibility for the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall quality standards throughout the entire property
  • Conduct regular room inspections and comprehensive quality audits to ensure compliance with organizational standards and guest expectations
  • Coordinate with external housekeeping service providers, monitor daily performance delivery, and verify that contracted services meet agreed-upon standards
  • Identify quality deficiencies promptly, communicate concerns assertively yet professionally, and implement corrective actions to resolve issues
  • Manage and verify vendor invoices against actual services rendered, ensuring accuracy and cost-effectiveness in all housekeeping expenditures
  • Collaborate effectively with Front Office, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences
  • Address guest feedback and complaints regarding cleanliness and quality with empathy and transparency, working toward swift resolution
  • Oversee inventory management of linens, cleaning supplies, and housekeeping equipment, maintaining optimal stock levels at all times

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on housekeeping experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment
  • Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role with demonstrated ability to manage and motivate teams
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain composure in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests, staff, and external partners
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort learning new property management systems
  • Solid understanding of hospitality standards, health and safety regulations, and hygiene protocols specific to the hospitality industry
  • Analytical mindset with experience in budget management, cost control, and financial reconciliation
  • Flexibility and willingness to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays, as operational needs require
