About the role
The Executive Housekeeper at Roswyn, a Morgans Originals Hotel in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, leads the full spectrum of housekeeping and laundry operations to deliver a sensorial, impeccably maintained luxury lifestyle environment. Day-to-day, the role manages the Housekeeping Department, sets SOPs and brand standards, coordinates with Front Office, Engineering, F&B, and Spa, oversees VIP arrivals and guest requests, manages the housekeeping budget and inventory, conducts quality inspections, and partners with Talent & Culture on recruitment and coaching. This is a full-time position.
What you’ll do
- Lead, inspire, and develop the Housekeeping and Laundry teams, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and service excellence
- Strategically plan, organize, and supervise all housekeeping operations in alignment with Roswyn’s luxury lifestyle positioning
- Ensure departmental policies, SOPs, and brand standards are consistently executed and evolved based on guest feedback, style trends, and operational needs
- Conduct daily briefings and regular training to keep colleagues engaged, aligned, and empowered
- Ensure all guest rooms, suites, and public spaces meet the highest luxury lifestyle standards, maintaining Roswyn’s signature aesthetic and ambiance
- Respond promptly and gracefully to guest requests, preferences, and complaints, and oversee VIP arrivals and curated in-room experiences
- Work with Front Office on room allocation, housekeeping schedules, and readiness for arrivals, departures, and special events
- Collaborate with Engineering, F&B, Spa, and other teams on maintenance follow-up, equipment upkeep, and cleaning/setup needs
What you’ll bring
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field required
- 6–8 years of housekeeping experience in luxury or lifestyle hotels
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Expertise in housekeeping standards, cleaning technologies, textiles, laundry operations, and room aesthetics
- Strong understanding of hotel safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations
- Excellent English communication skills
- Strong systems knowledge (MS Office, PMS, housekeeping software)
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Additional languages are an advantage
