Full Stack Technical Leader (MEAN Stack)

About the role

Codvo seeks a Full Stack Technical Leader (MEAN Stack) based in Mumbai to architect and deliver high‑performance web applications. The role demands 10‑13 years of development experience, including 3+ years in a leadership capacity, and deep expertise in Angular, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB/PostgreSQL/MySQL. Candidates will design scalable systems, mentor cross‑functional teams, and drive Agile delivery using CI/CD pipelines on Azure or similar cloud platforms. Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, MVC/MVVM patterns, microservices, REST APIs, OAuth/JWT, Docker, and Git is essential. The leader will oversee code quality, performance tuning, and continuous improvement while collaborating with product owners and architects. What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and deploy high‑quality web applications using Angular, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB/MySQL/PostgreSQL.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Define and implement technical architecture, component designs, and system integrations.
• Lead end‑to‑end development activities including coding, code reviews, testing, and deployments.
• Work closely with product owners, architects, and cross‑functional teams to deliver robust solutions.
• Apply Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies and ensure timely delivery of releases.
• Resolve technical blockers and provide hands‑on guidance to development teams.
• Mentor and coach developers, promoting engineering best practices and high‑quality standards.
• Participate in sprint planning, system design discussions, and effort estimations.
• Drive continuous improvements in performance, scalability, and engineering processes.
• Work extensively with PG (PostgreSQL), Redis, and RabbitMQ (RMQ).
• Contribute equally to both Microservices and Micro‑frontends architecture.

What you’ll bring

• 8+ years of hands‑on development experience, with at least 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in MEAN stack: Angular/AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap; Node.js, Express.js; MongoDB / PostgreSQL / MySQL.
• Experience with Azure Cloud or other cloud platforms (preferred Azure).
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with MVC/MVVM design patterns and microservices architecture.
• Experience with REST APIs, authentication/authorization (OAuth/JWT), CI/CD pipelines.
• Version control & DevOps exposure (Git, Docker, Azure DevOps/Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
• Strong problem‑solving and system design skills.
• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Experience with performance tuning and scalable architecture.
• Exposure to test frameworks (Jest, Jasmine, Mocha).
• Experience working in Agile product teams.
