The Silicon Physical Design Engineer defines and drives physical verification methodologies, owns PV for design partitions, and contributes to rule sets and code reviews. What you’ll do
- Define and drive implementation of physical design and verification methodologies
- Own PV for one or more physical design partitions or top‑level designs
- Drive closure of PV for SoC designs
- Contribute to design methodology, libraries, and code reviews
- Define physical design rule sets for engineers
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- 4 years experience with physical design verification flows and methodology (DRC, LVS, PERC, ESD, ERC, antenna, DFM, dummyfill) using tools such as Calibre
Nice to have
- Master's or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science with emphasis on computer architecture
- Experience with scripting languages (Perl, Python, Tcl)
- Experience with constraints, synthesis or clock tree synthesis (CTS)
