The Director leads this team, defines strategy, drives AI‑enabled workflow transformation, and partners with architecture, verification, and program management to deliver complex SoCs. What you’ll do

• Define and execute physical design methodology strategy
• Lead AI‑driven transformation of CAD flows and automation
• Partner with cross‑functional engineering leaders to deliver SoCs
• Build and scale compute infrastructure and cloud‑native platforms
• Mentor technical leads and senior engineers
• Influence EDA vendor roadmaps and tool adoption
• Drive productivity, quality, and cost optimization initiatives
• Champion inclusive, high‑performance engineering culture

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering or related field
• 12+ years experience in Physical Design, CAD, or silicon engineering
• 5+ years experience leading engineering teams
• Deep expertise in RTL‑to‑GDSII implementation and sign‑off
• Proven track record building automation frameworks and methodology
• Experience integrating AI/ML into design workflows
• Strong programming skills in Python, Tcl, Perl, or Shell
• Experience with Synopsys, Cadence, or Siemens EDA tools
