About the role

Health Agency team at HDFC ERGO drives insurance enrollment and agent performance across Bihar. The Deputy Manager identifies and motivates potential agents, ensures product knowledge, sets premium targets, and resolves issues with underwriting, claims, and finance teams. Based in Patna, on-site work model, overseeing agent relationships and mobilization efforts.

What you’ll do

• Identify and motivate potential agents to enroll as certified agents
• Facilitate agent onboarding and product training
• Set premium targets and monitor agent performance
• Maintain low dormancy ratio of active agents
• Conduct regular follow-ups to maximize mobilization
• Coordinate with underwriting, branch operations, claims, and finance teams for issue resolution

What you’ll bring

• 4-9 years insurance sales experience
• Proven track record in agent recruitment and mobilization
• Strong knowledge of insurance products and policies
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to set and achieve premium targets
