Drives mechanical architecture, design reviews, and FMEA for nanometer‑tolerance systems while managing a multi‑regional team of engineers. Based in Pune, Maharashtra, India with a hybrid work model (on‑site and remote days).
What you’ll do
- Lead mechanical design and analysis for precision motion systems and vacuum chambers
- Conduct design reviews, FMEA, and tolerance stack‑up analyses
- Manage mechanical engineering teams across Pune, Netherlands, and Singapore
- Define mechanical architecture for multi‑million‑dollar equipment projects
- Coordinate DFM guidelines and assembly validation with manufacturing
- Interface with suppliers for critical components
- Deliver engineering deliverables following V‑model processes
What you’ll bring
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 15+ years precision mechanical design experience
- 8+ years semiconductor industry experience
- Leadership of 5+ mechanical engineers
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, NX, or CATIA
- Finite element analysis using ANSYS or Abaqus
- Experience with ultra‑precision motion systems
