About the role

The Central Operations team in Retail Banking seeks an Operations Specialist to support Credit Operations for retail loan disbursals and payments. The role involves managing loan documentation, inventory funding, master data, and stakeholder coordination while driving automation and digitization initiatives. This full-time position is based in Thane, Maharashtra, India.

What you’ll do

  • Manage loan disbursal, payments, and post-disbursal activities for retail products
  • Review and verify loan documentation across various products
  • Drive quality and service level adherence (SLA) within the unit
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for issue resolution
  • Promote automation and digitization to enhance process efficiency
  • Prepare MIS reports to support operational tracking and decision-making
  • Draft Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for process automation
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system modifications

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Science, Arts, Business & Insurance, or Management Studies
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in retail banking operations
  • Strong understanding of retail loan products and disbursal processes
  • Proficiency in preparing MIS reports and drafting BRDs
  • Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and automation tools

Nice to have

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to drive quality and service level adherence (SLA)
  • Familiarity with loan documentation and post-disbursal activities
  • Collaborative mindset with initiative to improve operational processes
