About the role
Cardinal Health’s Innovation & Capability Centre in Bangalore builds and maintains Master Data Management services for SAP MDG and S4 HANA, driving data quality and integration across the enterprise. The Engineer designs and implements SAP configuration, custom ABAP, and integration solutions using ALE, IDOCs, and middleware such as Boomi, ensuring high‑availability and performance. The role collaborates with Enterprise Architects and Product Owners to deliver scalable MDM solutions, supports FIORI app development, and leads POCs on emerging technologies. Bangalore, On‑site.
What you’ll do
- Design and configure SAP MDG solutions
- Develop ABAP enhancements and BADIs
- Implement data integration via ALE, IDOCs, and middleware
- Collaborate with architects on technical architecture
- Deliver high‑quality technical artifacts
- Lead POCs on emerging integration technologies
- Ensure system stability and performance
- Document solutions and best practices
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5-8 years SAP MDG experience
- Experience with SAP S/4 HANA
- Proficiency in ABAP and SAP configuration
- Knowledge of ALE, IDOCs, SOA, Web Services
- Experience with middleware tools (Boomi, Kafka, APIGEE)
- Familiarity with FIORI and OData
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
