About the role

Fulfillment Center Operations team at Amazon oversees safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity across inbound and outbound functions. The Area Manager leads a team of Process Assistants, develops staffing plans, drives process improvements and Six Sigma initiatives, and collaborates with HR, Finance, Facilities and IT to meet business goals. Gurugram, India, on-site role with flexible shift schedule including weekends and holidays.

What you’ll do

• Lead a functional area of the fulfillment center (inbound or outbound)
• Manage and develop Process Assistants, set performance expectations and provide feedback
• Create staffing plans and schedules to meet operational demand
• Drive quality, process change, and Six Sigma initiatives
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Facilities, S&LP, and IT managers for resources
• Address operational and personnel issues within the area

What you’ll bring

• 2+ years employee and performance management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent or 2+ years Amazon blue badge/FTE experience
• Flexible schedule/shift including weekends, nights, holidays
