About the role

Amazon Fulfillment Center Operations team ensures safe, high‑quality, and productive order fulfillment. The Area Manager leads a team of warehouse associates, oversees safety programs, drives process‑improvement initiatives, and balances labor to meet productivity targets. Ilayangudi, Tamil Nadu, India – On-site, full‑time schedule with weekend and overnight shifts as needed.

What you’ll do

• Review work forecasts and set productivity requirements
• Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor and meet shift goals
• Support safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance
• Lead process‑improvement initiatives using Lean tools
• Supervise and train warehouse associates

What you’ll bring

• 2+ years employee and performance management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
• 1+ years performance metrics or lean process improvement experience
