About the role

Project Procurement team at SBM Offshore drives the sourcing and delivery of critical equipment for offshore energy projects. The Senior Project Procurement Lead develops procurement strategies, leads tendering and contract negotiations, and manages supplier performance to ensure timely, cost‑effective project execution. Bangalore, on-site role with potential for travel to project sites.

What you’ll do

• Develop and implement procurement and tendering strategies
• Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with buyers and category managers
• Manage supplier relationships and performance monitoring
• Track purchase order execution and mitigate schedule, cost, or quality risks
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain processes
• Report progress to Project Procurement Manager

What you’ll bring

• Proven track record as Project Procurement Lead on complex offshore/onshore projects
• Strong contract management and high‑value negotiation experience
• Experience with ERP and supply chain management software
• Familiarity with oil and gas procurement standards and compliance

Nice to have

• Leadership in developing procurement strategies
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional engineering and project teams
• Mentoring junior procurement staff
