Data Center Security Specialist, BOM DC Security

About the role

AWS Infrastructure Services team ensures the safety and security of AWS data centers. The specialist coordinates contract guard forces, oversees vendor deliverables, and develops strategies for surveillance and access control while analyzing security metrics. Based in Mumbai with on-site work, up to 50% travel between local sites.

What you’ll do

• Coordinate professional contract guard activities
• Interface with vendors for system repairs and security construction
• Track vendor deliverables and enforce corrective actions
• Educate stakeholders on false alarm reduction
• Extract and analyze security metrics
• Ensure compliance with global security standards
• Develop surveillance and access control improvement strategies
• Draft reports and presentations on security operations
• Collaborate on security processes and procedures
• Advocate for customers by identifying security opportunities

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Criminology/Criminal Justice or related field
• Experience with CCTV, access control and intrusion systems
• Fluent English communication

Nice to have

• 1+ years security operations oversight
• Security operations, risk management, incident response experience
• Data analysis and basic Excel skills
• Customer service orientation with strong analytical and communication abilities
