About the role
People Innovation, Human Resources at PATH drives global health equity by building talent pipelines and performance frameworks. The Senior Talent Development Specialist designs succession planning, high‑potential programs, and career pathways, partners with People Experience and leaders to embed talent practices, and delivers analytics to inform leadership decisions. Johannesburg, South Africa and additional sites in New Delhi, Kampala, Nairobi – onsite work model.
What you’ll do
- Design and implement talent review and succession planning frameworks
- Develop high‑potential and leadership development pathways
- Create performance enablement tools and manager guidance
- Maintain career frameworks and capability building programs
- Partner with Total Rewards on merit‑based progression and recognition
- Produce talent analytics and insights for leadership
- Facilitate talent reviews and calibration sessions
- Collaborate with internal partners and vendors for scalable solutions
What you’ll bring
- 10 years overall HR experience
- 5 years talent development or performance management
- Experience with Workday Talent Management (desirable)
- HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, CPLP)
