Branch Credit Officer

About the role

Secured & Unsecured Lending Business at Muthoot FinCorp is responsible for evaluating and extending credit to small and micro‑business customers. The Branch Credit Officer conducts on‑site customer verifications, performs detailed credit assessments, and prepares analysis reports for the Credit Manager. This role is based in Raebareli, on‑site at the branch office.

What you’ll do

• Meet customers at business premises and residences to verify information
• Perform credit assessments using templates and report findings
• Analyze cash flow and repayment ability
• Gather documentation for comprehensive credit analysis
• Ensure compliance with underwriting procedures and maintain TAT
• Monitor delinquency triggers per product norms

What you’ll bring

• 1-5 years credit experience
• Unsecured micro/small ticket loan underwriting
• LAP credit underwriting
• Excellent English communication (verbal and written)
