Maintenance Technician

About the role

Facilities Operations at Energy Products and Services ensures safe, reliable, and efficient functioning of buildings, utilities, and mechanical equipment across multiple sites. The Maintenance Technician plans and monitors preventive maintenance programs using the Max‑Maintenance Portal, coordinates repairs of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems, and manages procurement and contractor performance. Chennai, India, on-site work model.

What you’ll do

• Plan and monitor preventive maintenance programs using Max‑Maintenance Portal
• Coordinate maintenance of mechanical equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and compressors
• Respond to maintenance requests and perform repairs on building, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Process purchase requisitions, orders, and receiving for facility operations
• Supervise outsourced cleaning and security contractors to meet KPIs
• Provide backup coverage for the Facilities Department during staff absences
• Ensure compliance with NOV HSE policies and SOPs
• Carry out additional facility‑related duties as required

What you’ll bring

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with electrical C‑License
• Minimum 5 years hands‑on experience in heavy machinery environment
• Able to read technical drawings/manual
• Good written and communication skills
• Able to commit to overtime work
• Computer literacy (MS Office Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Familiar with HSE regulations and practices
