The Senior Payroll & Finance Operations Specialist ensures accurate payroll processing, statutory compliance, and integrates AI‑enabled automation into payroll and accounting workflows while partnering with HR and Finance on policy, benefits, and audit support. Based in India with a hybrid work model, the role collaborates across global payroll jurisdictions and supports continuous improvement of financial reporting.
What you’ll do
- Own end‑to‑end monthly payroll processing for India employees
- Oversee statutory compliance filings and audit support
- Partner with Employee Experience to align payroll with hiring, benefits, and exits
- Maintain payroll reconciliation checks, audit trails, and variance investigations
- Support global payroll inputs via UKG OneView for other jurisdictions
- Drive implementation of new payroll software and AI‑enhanced processes
What you’ll bring
- 8+ years India payroll experience
- Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and TDS
- Proficiency with UKG OneView or similar global payroll platform
- Experience with payroll‑related accounting entries and reconciliations
- Ability to independently resolve complex payroll issues
Nice to have
- Advanced Excel and Google Workspace skills
- Familiarity with AI tools for workflow automation
- Excellent communication for employee and stakeholder interactions
