Master Data Governance Specialist, Data Governance & Quality Analyst

About the role

Data Governance team at Medimexico Fresenius Medical Care establishes and enforces data governance standards across SAP S/4HANA and downstream platforms. The Specialist defines policies, manages data quality rules, builds dashboards, and acts as liaison between business owners, consultants, and technical teams. Bengaluru, KA, India, hybrid work model, up to 20% travel.

What you’ll do

• Define and implement data governance policies, standards, and naming conventions
• Maintain data ownership models, approval workflows, and stewardship processes
• Develop and monitor data quality rules, profiling, validation, and remediation
• Create and manage data quality dashboards, KPIs, and reporting for leadership
• Engage business owners, stewards, and IT teams to drive governance adoption
• Integrate governance controls into business processes and system workflows
• Support master data governance initiatives and S/4HANA modernization projects

What you’ll bring

• 15+ years SAP Master data management experience
• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA, Material Master, Business Partner, Finance domains
• Hands‑on with SAP MDG configuration and data replication
• Experience with Collibra or similar governance tools
• Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills

Nice to have

• Proven track record defining data governance policies and standards
• Ability to design and enforce data quality rules and dashboards
• Experience supporting audits, SOX, GDPR compliance
• Facilitation of governance forums and stakeholder training
