Application Engineer, Master Data Governance

About the role

Finance Engineering team at Google builds world‑leading business solutions for internal Googlers. The Application Engineer leads web development, requirements gathering, testing, documentation, training, implementation and support for SAP Master Data Governance and S/4HANA applications. Hyderabad, India, on-site role focusing on end‑to‑end master data processes and cross‑functional collaboration.

What you’ll do

• Partner with internal business teams to develop delivery roadmaps and system requirements for SAP MDG
• Plan, prioritize, deliver and support Master Data Management solutions
• Manage system implementation projects including design, configuration, testing and issue resolution
• Organize documentation to drive project delivery

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field or equivalent experience
• 4 years ABAP development experience

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Computer Science or MIS preferred
• Experience with SAP MDG and S/4HANA development
• 3 years end‑to‑end SAP MDG implementation experience
• Knowledge of finance/FICO, Materials/MM, Business Partner/Supplier master data
