About the role

Chevron Engineering and Innovation Excellence Center (ENGINE) builds and enhances SAP Master Data Governance solutions to ensure high‑quality, compliant master data across the enterprise. The MDG Data Engineer configures data models, workflows, Fiori UI, and DRF replication, supports data loads, migration, and governance activities, and collaborates with stakeholders and ETL teams. Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, On-site, Full-time.

What you’ll do

Configure and enhance SAP MDG data models and extensions
Implement MDG governance processes, workflows, and business rules
Set up and support DRF replication to SAP and non‑SAP systems
Assist with initial data loads, migration, and ongoing data quality
Collaborate with data services/ETL teams for staging and mapping
Troubleshoot MDG data, workflow, and replication issues
Support MDG across DEV, TEST, UAT, PROD environments
Participate in release planning, cutover, and hypercare activities

What you’ll bring

4-10 years SAP MDG experience
Hands‑on MDG data model configuration
DRF replication implementation
SAP S/4HANA master data knowledge
Data migration and conversion experience
Familiarity with SAP Data Services or ETL tools

Nice to have

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field
