About the role

Atomgrid seeks a People & Culture Manager to build its inaugural HR function. The role focuses on end‑to‑end talent acquisition across R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and business teams, while establishing policies, performance frameworks, and compliance with Indian labour laws. The manager will shape culture, drive employee engagement, and partner with founders to secure senior hires. Ideal candidates bring 5‑8 years of HR experience in fast‑growing startups, strong recruiting expertise, and familiarity with manufacturing or chemicals sectors. What you’ll do

  • Lead end‑to‑end hiring across R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and business teams
  • Build talent pipeline through direct sourcing, networks, and partnerships
  • Design structured hiring processes, assessment frameworks, and candidate experience
  • Partner with founders and BU heads to close senior/critical roles within aggressive timelines
  • Set up HR policies and ensure compliance with POSH, Factories Act, and labour laws
  • Establish performance management and review cycles
  • Build and promote Atomgrid’s culture as the cultural ambassador

What you’ll bring

  • 5–8 years of HR experience in a startup or growth‑stage company
  • Proven success in high‑volume and leadership hiring
  • Strong HR generalist foundation with recruitment as core strength
  • Experience in manufacturing, chemicals, or pharma sectors a plus
  • Ability to build processes from scratch and scale them
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, and business‑first mindset
