About the role
Core Product team at Enterpret builds the AI-native platform that transforms unstructured customer feedback into structured product intelligence. The Principal Engineer will own architecture for the Wisdom and Agents engine, define end‑to‑end product systems, and mentor senior engineers while collaborating with product, design and GTM. Based in Bengaluru with a hybrid work model.
What you’ll do
- own architecture for Wisdom and Agents engine
- define clean responsibility boundaries across services
- review ERDs, PRDs, design docs and implementations
- drive unblock planning and own technical direction
- partner with product, design, engineering and GTM
- mentor senior engineers and review code
- make trade‑offs across latency, AI/model behavior, reliability and cost
- contribute to product direction and standards
What you’ll bring
- 8+ years experience as Staff+/Principal-level engineer
- track record owning architecture for multi‑team product
- strong foundation in distributed systems
- experience with agent systems and ML engineering
- knowledge of MLOps and frontend/BFF architecture
- proven ability to turn ambiguity into plans
- excellent written communication in design docs
- mentoring and influencing engineers
