Security & Loss Prevention Expert, Worldwide Operations Security

About the role

Worldwide Operations Security team safeguards Amazon's supply chain by protecting people, assets, and operations. The Security & Loss Prevention Expert drives site-level security improvements, conducts audits, investigates incidents, and implements mitigation measures across assigned sites. Hyderabad, on-site role with occasional travel to regional sites, collaborating with external security providers and internal stakeholders.

What you’ll do

• Drive and implement site-level security improvements and process optimization initiatives
• Support emergency and crisis planning for sites within area of responsibility
• Identify vulnerabilities and define mitigating actions ensuring compliance with legal and Amazon security standards
• Coordinate risk management with local management and external parties such as law enforcement
• Own security and loss prevention projects at local, regional, and country levels

What you’ll bring

• Experience in security services, asset protection, loss prevention, risk management, inventory management, investigations, supply chain, auditing, compliance
• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Degree or equivalent

Nice to have

• Associate's degree or higher or advanced technical degree
• Experience managing contract security and physical security programs (access control, intrusion detection, CCTV)
• Retail, warehouse, or manufacturing experience
• Data and analytics experience
• Valid driver's license
