About the role
NPE Global Engineering Hub India (NPE GEH) drives engineering support for the NPE Division, delivering automation and electrical solutions across pharma, chemical, dairy, and food sectors. The Associate Automation Engineer designs, programs, and commissions PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems, prepares technical documentation, and provides remote site support. Vadodara, India, on-site with 40% travel for project commissioning.
What you’ll do
- Develop PLC, SCADA, and HMI software using Siemens TIA Portal
- Perform FAT/SAT testing and documentation
- Review and write FDS documents
- Provide remote site support and on‑site commissioning
- Prepare technical documentation such as alarm and interlock lists
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation, Controls, Electrical or Electronics
- 5-8 years experience
- Pharma, Chemical, Dairy or Food industry experience
