About the role
GEA Process Engineering team develops and commissions automation systems for process industries. The Associate Automation Engineer designs PLC logic, HMI/SCADA screens, integrates MES reports, and supports software and electrical FATs while providing remote and onsite commissioning across India and abroad. Vadodara, India, on-site work model with extensive travel.
What you’ll do
- Develop PLC logic and HMI/SCADA screens using Siemens or Rockwell platforms
- Create and integrate MES reports and FDS documentation
- Perform software and electrical FATs
- Provide remote site support and onsite commissioning
- Collaborate with cross‑functional global and local teams
What you’ll bring
Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Controls or similar
Nice to have
- 3-7 years of experience in pharma, chemical, food, beverage, dairy or brewery industries
- Background in control systems software design for process/equipment control
